First of all, you are the best group of bloggers I’ve encountered since 2005, when I began on blogspot.com
To that, it’s time for me to move on…and I sincerely hope you’ll come with me and sign up for my FREE newsletter at http://teresacapaldo.com I’ll be closing this blog at the end of May. It’s best to have one landing place and there are things I can’t do business-wise on this site.
I just launched today!!!! Yeahhhhh!!! I’m ready to dive into the next layer of building and supporting others with their quest for freedom, financial independence, abundance, creativity, connectivity, whatever makes us jump out of bed in the morning, that we can’t wait to get to!

I’d like to begin this post with Gratitude!!!
If you’re a subscriber or follower, I want to take this opportunity to formally THANK YOU for your support. It’s been fun hearing from you and you’ve made a difference in my life being here, commenting and giving stars. Some of you have actually made my day at times when I most needed it, simply by following this blog. The impact of one simple act of resonance can be profound________which is something we all need to bare in mind, as we put ourselves out there. Isn’t it better to make a difference for one, than none? If we can do that, there is room for helping many!!!
I invite you to join me at my new site once I launch. I’ll be posting the exact date soon, and will keep this blog up through May.
After about 12 months of major highs and pretty deep lows, I’m close enough to officially being in business, to share it with confidence!!! (coming soon- http://teresacapaldo.com) As many of you know, it’s a long journey and no one succeeds without challenges. I’ve no doubt they’ll be even greater ones around the bend. No matter how young or old you are, anything is possible if you keep going and never give up!!!
I began blogging on blogger in 2005, was inconsistent posting with no particular focus or goal. I enjoyed writing. Even though I had few followers, there was a thrill in publicly putting myself out there, for my occasional visitors. Perhaps that’s how many of us get started with entrepreneurial journey’s…..blogging is the place we get both feet wet but we keep our anchors in tact till we’re ready to commit.
It’s my passion to help people who are READY to get unstuck, get focused and take action! There’s a deeper connection that happens with Life Coaching, that I don’t experience with other passions. I’m committed to giving my very best, and my clients know that ultimately it’s up to them to show up and take action. I enjoy quickly navigating through various pieces of someones puzzle, helping fuse things into a cohesive perspective that’s empowering, has a bright flame, and reflects their capacity for greatness! Sometimes, what we really need is someone to help us get out of our own way. It’s more critical to find the RIGHT life coach for your style, needs, way of communicating, than opting for someone who is attractive on the outside, but doesn’t resonate.
I approach my work holistically, meaning I see the person’s whole life as part of the equation, and sometimes individual parts need focus in order to achieve the bigger picture but, each part must be nurtured and nourished as a whole healthy unit. Since no two people’s circumstances are the same, I support each client as the unique individual that they are! I know I’m not for everyone nor want to be. I serve people who trust in their own instincts , are committed to personal growth, and welcome positive change. I’m a nurturer by nature but, hope to strike the balance of either broadening or narrowing the scope of focus….to enhance optimum benefit and results! My intent is to hold space to help my clients make choices that feel good and make sense TO THEM, because it’s not about me!
Let’s continue the conversation at http://teresacapaldo.com and see if I can support you with your journey~
Best Wishes, T.

I had the honor of guiding Shauna through a Body Mapping session. In this article, she shares her experience.
Many of you know that I’m currently enrolled in Marie Forleo’s Rich, Happy & Hot B-School. Through it I’ve met an array of successful, creative, and talented women who are either birthing their meaningful businesses or refining what they do so it makes a bigger impact on the world.
One local B-Babe I’ve been fortunate to come to know is Teresa Capaldo, Life Coach and Certified Soul Art Guide. We were vibing on each other’s energy through cyberspace so when she offered me a Body Mapping Retreat session, there was no way I was going to say no.
Body Mapping is a transformative narrative process utilizing collage, paint, drawing, writing, and other materials. Through creative expression you’re able to focus on goals, intentions, getting unstuck, or concentrating your energy on learning from, growing into, simply being your most pure, authentic self.
Teresa and I started our journey a few weeks ago. First we hiked through the luscious hills of Marin, unwinding, connecting, and coming to clarity on my intention for my body mapping session. Continue reading here……
No matter what we are doing day to day, there is a bigger picture and it’s so important that we extend our energies outward and consider being part of something greater. With online businesses, it’s a must to not only engage within online communities, but to also make connections in our immediate community, with like-minded people. I believe there is room for all of us to succeed and networking collectively with other entrepreneurs bolsters impact and value to the people we serve.
As a Certified Soul Art Guide, I’m proud to be part of this campaign to support Sacred Video Network, a unique women-owned business dedicated to showcasing holistic businesses and entrepreneurs through the power of video.
I’m offering a private Soul Art Body Mapping session to the campaign. This is a one on one private session in my studio in California, just North of San Francisco.
This is a wonderful opportunity for creative women entrepreneurs.
Please open the link below for details on bidding to support this campaign.
It would be an honor to guide you with this uniquely transformative creative offering. Thank you!
Yeah’ I know, it’s been awhile. I was just starting to build some momentum here and then I got swept away, literally by 8 legs of my life. At this point, I’ve probably lost the few kind readers I had, and I’m okay with it….you can’t expect loyalty when you don’t reciprocate.
Here’s the truth……I’ve been doing my life and sometimes doing your life means the bigger stuff, the dream stuff, the stuff that you really want to get back to, has to wait a bit. No matter how badly you want to succeed, you ultimately have to do your life and your life may require you to provide care-giving, deal with a troubled teen, or your own health. So, we give just enough rope to stay connected without completely letting go. We know we’ll come back, and that belief actually enables us to do our life! Recalibrate priorities. It’s all quite healthy, actually.
What I want to share now is that I discovered the joy of Google Calendar recently and it’s changed my life! Why do you care? Because maybe if you’re a creative entrepreneur and you’re struggling with moving forward, you might have an issue with focus. Creative people tend to be very focused on one thing; creating, coming up with ideas, dreaming shit up in their sleep, and pondering ideas during the day…….which is wonderful, but ideas are nothing without action. Take a moment and think about how many times you had a brilliant idea and within minutes, POOF……it was gone!!
So, let’s circle back to doing your life. IF you really want to do your life, have a life that you love, is fulfilling, makes you happy, makes you money, with the lifestyle you desire……you must take action and get really organized, planning and carving out focused actionable time directly related to your plans, goals and dreams.
It’s a matter of knowing when you need to break free of your existing cycle into something that actually feels good and propels you. The simple act of implementing Google Calendar (because it’s free) can make a huge difference.
Here’s my tip….get yourself a Gmail account if you don’t already have one. Schedule each day for the rest of this month. Start with the most critical tasks, allowing up to 90 minute stretches of complete focus. NO email, FB, or other distractions. Add in periodic stretching, rest, green juice breaks, short walks, time with kids, etc., Set 10-15 minute pop up reminders. Works well, and you lose another distraction. Try it for one week, tweak it as needed and just keep going. The self-care is a must and so many women, including coaches, but especially Moms neglect this….there is NO reason for that…..it ultimately serves no one. Moms should prioritize self-care and we don’t…I didn’t when my son was little, but not anymore!!!
When you create a routine that fits your obligations, responsibilities and desires……you will find you are more productive than ever. We’ll talk some more soon.
For the past two years, I’ve been on a journey of life-renewal. It’s been amazing. I’ve met some wonderful, super talented people and made a few tight bonds along the way. Out of my journey came my desire to coach artists and creative women, healers/fitness/wellness folks. There are different kinds of coaches. My work focuses on personal development, in order to support professional goals and dreams. My work is based on the principle of coaching holistically, in other words the Whole person, versus just focusing on one area of their lives. Especially with Entrepreneurs, what I’ve come to discover is that as deeply desired ones goals or dreams may be, when attention is exercised for personal development, the chances of succeeding are greatly increased.
We all want something more, different, better, clearer for ourselves and loved ones, but often we fall into the trap of conditioning from childhood and things we learned along the way that only serve to erode believing in ourselves enough to really make things happen. We get to a certain point and then get stuck. I know I have. We have some believe in ourselves but then we stop when things get difficult or we avoid certain things because it’s just too hard and it triggers other stuff we don’t want to deal with. I don’t need credentials to know all of this and I’m not playing psychologist. But the fact is…we all have “stuff” to deal with, we all have skeletons, demons, triggers or things that get in our way of happiness. Some have more than others. Some need specially qualified people to help them beyond coaching.
Who I serve are people who are ready to dive in and do the personal work, in order to manifest their goals and dreams. Having invested in learning from quality people in online marketing, my own personal coaching support, and various creative modalities, I offer diversity!!! I have a great deal of experience with many different facets of creating an online business. What I am not qualified or knowledgeable with, I have resources to share with my clients. My core work is my ability to quickly hone in on tangible, applicable areas of focus and my ability to identify an action plan with immediacy. I am extremely intuitive as well and that plays an important role in my work.
I thank you for visiting this blog. I am super focused on my website right now, and hope you’ll join me when I launch in spring. More details will follow in the weeks to come.
If you’d like to contact me in the meantime, you are welcome to use the form on the Contact Page. Cheers~
Most of us feared the dark and cold at some point during childhood. I know I did. Part of growing up is scaring each other, if you have siblings, and telling spooky stories at sleep-overs. It’s good clean fun. Later in life our fears get more complicated and often get in the way of having a good life.
What I’ve come to realize about FEAR, is that what I actually fear is not the thing itself, but the unknown about the thing. Fear is about uncertainty, “anticipating the unknown” and to some degree projecting negative outcomes.
It’s gonna happen. We will have fear and sometimes fear is an indicator you need to pay better attention to your surroundings, if you aren’t tuned in and say you’re in the woods. That’s not a good time to be dialed in with ear buds, you might encounter a bear. But, what if that first moment we felt fear, tightening in chest, relentless mental chatter, shutting the world out, or feeling stuck, we took action? At least stop ourselves more times than not. Wouldn’t that be great!
Consider this thought for a week and let me know what you experienced, if you don’t mind. “Fear is anticipation of the unknown”. We don’t need to fear that, as it serves no purpose for the outcome. It serves no purpose in what we really want. So, take that energy back and RE-focus it on the “here-and-now”. Focus on “I know what I know and that is X, Y and Z”. What you don’t know is okay. It can wait. Right now, take a deep breath, hold hand on upper chest and breathe some more. Then, work with Right Now! See how that feels instead.
